New Campaign tool for Industry

The interactive content widget can be displayed on your own website and is packed with inspirational content, appealing images and amazing footage of Australia. In just three easy steps, the widget can be customised with your company’s offers and deals and a direct link to your booking site. It has been translated into four languages – German, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese with a Japanese version coming soon. Download the widget now.

Get a Holiday Life this weekend
Keep a look out this weekend for Holiday Life magazine – an eight page lift-out on travelling in Australia brought to you by Tourism Australia. This special supplement will appear within Fairfax’s Sunday Life magazine in Sydney’s Sun Herald and Melbourne’s Herald Sun newspapers. The supplement includes great ideas to make your holiday unique including upcoming events around Australia, some new and interesting ideas for holidays you may not have thought of and a few ideas to make your winter a little warmer.

Greater China Travel Mission 2010
The Greater China Travel Mission (GCTM) 2010 will be held in Chengdu, China from 31 October to 3 November 2010. The three day workshop will consist of 90 twelve minute appointments with buyers. GCTM targets leisure travel markets and provides direct access to travel agents, tour operators, media and airlines in the Greater China Regions of Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan. Applications close Wednesday 11 August 2010.

International Luxury Travel Market 2010
Now in its ninth year, the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) is still one of the only global business-to-business travel events catering exclusively to the luxury travel industry in a ‘Hosted Buyer Forum’. ILTM will be held in Cannes, France from 6 to 9 December 2010 attracts over 1,100 VIP Buyers to meet exclusively with worldwide luxury travel suppliers. Tourism Australia will take a stand at ILTM and invites Australian industry to join. Applications close Wednesday 11 August 2010.

European Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition 2010
Tourism Australia is coordinating the Australia Stand at The European Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (EIBTM) to be held in Barcelona, Spain from 30 November to 2 December 2010. EIBTM is a specialist exhibition designed to assist organisations with their meetings and conference programs, business travel requirements and incentive travel campaigns. Applications close Wednesday 11 August 2010.

Global Eco Conference 2010
The Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference will be held from 24 to 28 October 2010 at the newly opened eco-development Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort & Spa Noosa, Queensland. The program will feature national and international leaders addressing Sustainability, Best Practice Operator Case Studies, Green Marketing and more. 'Go Ashes' iPhone app launched in the UK!
A new Go Ashes app for UK and Irish iPhone users has been launched by Tourism Australia to coincide with the Vodafone Ashes Series 2010-11 that will start on 25 November in Brisbane. As well as in-depth destination information on the five host cities and beyond, team news and live updates, the Go Ashes’ app will give one lucky UK winner the chance to win an incredible trip to the Brisbane Test. Freycinet National Park

Australia featured on Italian TV
Australia will have a prominent presence on Italy’s most popular travel program this month, as popular travelogue program Alle Falde del Kilimangiaro broadcasts two documentaries about Australia. The shows are the result of an International Media Hosting Program visit in April 2010 to Freycinet National Park, Cradle Mountain, the Blue Mountains, Great Barrier Reef, and Whitsunday islands. Alle Falde de Kilimangiaro has an average viewership of 3-4 million.
