Integrate

Projects we have already undertaken with generic application include processing invoices, statements, orders and alerts. These might go out as fax, email, post, SMS or mobile app. If required — for example with business document processing — we can attempt delivery via fax or email, and automatically send any failures out via post. In most cases we create a “pre-processor” that takes the data you feed us and converts it into a format that both suits your requirements and is ready for our production system. XML over HTTPS API

Most bespoke integrations are through our XML over HTTPS API. This easy to use API covers sending email, SMS, fax and voice messages with XML as the file format. Using the simple HTTPS post technique, the integration is not only secure but a breeze to set up. You can find the API schema here:

FTP, SFTP, Inetfiletransfer, email

Alternatively, a lot of our clients transfer files of varying formats to us via a range of file transfer methods. We then use, or write, an appropriate process to convert those files to suit the method of delivery.

FTP

File Transfer Protocol. Files are not encrypted in transfer, but it is quick and easy to set up.

SFTP

Secure File Transfer Protocol. Files are encrypted in transfer, but it takes a little longer to set up.

Inetfiletransfer

Prodocom’s proprietary version of SFTP with encryption and compression. Secure, quick and easy to set up.

Email

Email-to-fax, email-to-SMS, emailing text we use to populate an HTML template to send as email, or a text file to trigger a voice campaign.

File formats we currently accept:

CSV and PDF

Use the CSV file to provide personalised data for an HTML email template, and to specify which PDF goes to which recipient.

Crystal Reports

RPT files with hidden data in the first lines of the document — unseen by the recipient, but giving us everything needed for personalising an HTML template and delivering it.

Postscript

PS files with hidden data in the first lines of the Postscript code, used the same way.

PDF

PDF files with hidden data in the first lines of the document, used the same way.

Text

A variety of text formats with defined variables. We can send as-is, or use the data to populate stored templates.

WAV

Used in conjunction with a text or CSV file to trigger voice campaigns.

If you use Salesforce or HubSpot, to name just a couple, there is a Zapier “Zap” to integrate with Prodocom so your contacts are kept up to date with all activity generated through the Prodocom platform.
